Go shawty, it's ya Birthday!

Shop my Birthday looks!I tell you where you can find my birthday dinner outfit and how to put together your own 'Lampshade' look.

26 was one for the books! I took a few days of vacation and headed out on the first plane to my hometown, Austin, TX. My birthday extravaganza kicked off with a birthday dinner at Cheesecake Factory at Barton Creek Square Mall, Wednesday. I really wanted to connect with old friends from High School, and that's exactly what I did!

(Left to right: La'Bria, Shaneika, Tyerra, Naomi, Adrianna, and my sister Tabitha.)

My nephew Alex (Jr.) and I share the same birthday, which makes celebrating EXTRA special. Since he was born, we've celebrated nearly every single year together, but this year "takes the cake", literally. While we were being serenaded by the Cheesecake crew, the little munchkin smeared cake on my face and started an all-out cake war!

Isn't Jr. the cutest?

The night continued with drinks at a local South Austin bar where I met my Chilean cutie, Mel.

My pink suede outfit is from Forever 21, my metallic gold shoes are Steve Madden

(discounted shoes in link below). I tied the look together with my rose-gold Fossil watch and a diamond choker. (Simpler is better!)

We moved the fiesta to 'Dirty 6th'. Yes, it goes up on a Wednesday! The remainder of my weekend consisted of spending time with friends and family.

A few of my girls hit The Domain Friday night, we went to a club called '77', which was very nice. We enjoyed good music and the ambiance was super upscale.

I had been wanting to try the 'Lampshade Look' that you see celebs like Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian wearing. I had a vision in mind and I executed it! I had been saving this outfit for literally months. I put together the fit at Plato's Closet, and it costed me no more than $35. The grey suede boots are from 'New Look' and the Men's 'FRENCH' T-Shirt is from 'Dress Forum Los Angeles'. But, you can put the same look together with any Graphic Tee paired with some sexy suede thigh-high boots. I made it more feminine using a high-waisted black belt to cinch the waist showing off more of my hour-glass figure.

You can't forget the diamond choker!

Lots of ladies have been asking about my boots! You can find a similar pair of grey suede/velvet boots online, just click the link.

I hope you enjoyed my birthday looks!

They were super fun and easy to put together, also very affordable.

I definitely felt like a 'Baddie B'
